OOC: because I let myself corner myself into this, just like Nobunaga creating a trap and walking the fuck into it, and closing the cage door behind him out of sheer pride. Now where did he submit this entry to? Genuinely that's the biggest meta question I have about it all. I'm going to pretend randomly that Mitsunari Ishida and Ieyasu Tokugawa are holding a wide open to the public contest to determine their policy suggestions on dealing with the Ninja villages, and to test himself Nobunaga writes this but 100% "disguised" so they don't know it's him. Would they know anyway? Does it win because they know it would be the suggestions Nobunaga would like most? You be the judge.
CW: Random TLDR, Oda Nobunaga isn't from the time point where he had to war directly with the mercenary Ninja villages, eventually losing his son to them (he does not have a son in Ikemen Sengoku nor really in SLBP) and is still at the point of sometimes using Ninja, including Sasuke, especially as feeders of false information and double agents, but has also made no secret of his desire to end their systems as having them able to be hired as mercenaries or teaching their children war exacerbates the factionalism and disharmony of the civil wars instead of the peace he wants for a unified productive Japan.
Re: drug addicts. Nobunaga personally introduced some more cash crops from overseas to Japan including tobacco, cotton, and of fucking course SUGAR. The second biggest reason he's a fucking candy addict. However, Japan already had magic mushrooms psilocybin native to Japan, and guess who generally grew that? Yes, the ninjas. Meanwhile despite opium's medicinal uses, only the most elite classes were even allowed it, driving Nobunaga insane when Kitsuno (his favorite love, mother of child) was suffering and did indeed die in agony. - Not actually a demon born and raised etc. He was a human who lived, died, and this particular incarnation (because there are like > 9000 Oda Nobunaga's) was the otome romance visual novel incarnation
- Already familiar with the multiverse and time travel, time travel is in his canon, multiverse is from the previous game.
- Smells like gunpowder and metal but also candy
- Has a candy addiction he will argue forever is not an addiction
- Has a Klaus addiction, he will absolutely call an addiction
- Will never confess to not being the Demon King of 6th Heaven, and will tell the whole story of how he came to be possessed (?! - He did not, in fact...) and 100% not be lying, he's just a delusional overgrown chuuni
- Actually proficient in swords, guns, & martial arts, but like who cares?
- Red Eyes, capes, demon horns, the works
- Only power is political power or what others willingly grant him!
- Is a genius, but silly enough it's hard to tell
- Knows Buddhism & Shinto more than he'll admit, but as he'll tell anyone who listens of course the devil knows the bible inside out.
- Moral compass is a bit of a red herring, but he does value life and freedom. He wants people to enjoy life not throw it away, he did want peace, but the only way he could think of to do it was absolute rule / iron fist / "tyranny." Weird-ass tyrant where he wanted to make everyone's life better and then run away to explore the world though!
- Loves falconry, weapons, information (the greatest weapon of all!) and konpeito (candy) and playing games, especially Go.

4th Walling & Historical Recognition: 100%. Nobunaga expects to be recognized, he starts off in canon saying "You know who I am of course," he assumes everyone always does, he's that infamous. He's gotten more used to being mysterious-ISH (heavy ish) in the multiverse, but he's always pleased whenever someone knows him in general. That said there are *so* many versions of Nobunaga, including, cats, dogs, women (x billions) it's also free reign to be like "wait aren't you supposed to --" he'll be very used to it. Avoid the direct "Ikemen Sengoku dating game" just because it's a headache.

Flirting: He's married, so anyone who flirts with him, he assumes wants to get with Klaus but knows to do it through Nobunaga, so yeah s'fine.

Cannibalism Content: CW for obvious reasons. Oda has no problem with cannibals. I will warn, obviously, if -I- start it, but usually I don't. There's a lot Japanese oni myths, (Shuten Douji for example) especially in his time period, about oni being cannibals. Nobunaga is royalty so he never got as desperate others, but he's all for being an oni/irreverent as hell (haha pun) and will befriend cannibals and offer himself up in a very very delusional "I'm like Jesus" and/or ^ see also: cannibal oni stuff. Slightly toned down in Heckin because he's met real oni now and they're not fans of that, but he's also been eaten by a cannibal so... yolo???? He's not allowed to offer himself for the lulz anymore. So sad.
Punching/slapping: Go for it.
Fighting: He will throw down for any/all reasons, but he has been dealing with assassins since his literal childhood thanks to his brother sending ninja after him (royal families, amirite?) Nobunaga is very adept at martial arts, and canonically gets kidnapped/assassination attempts in every single route, and while he's good at slipping out, he will go very brutal and prefers to fight to the pain not to the death. Torture > killing. Yeah. He WILL always try to think of a better solution, AND most of his army did try to kill him one time or another, it's his pride that he could convince them to join him, so fighting isn't the end of anything, just don't think just because he has no magical/superpowers he's going down easy.
Injuring: ^ sure, just build up to it.
Killing: On a case basis, make sure to confer OOC with me preferably on plurk
Telepathy / mind reading: You barely need that, he's an open book, but yes, let me know in tag or OOC and I'll clarify what's additional other than the very obvious.

On the Ship Nobunaga got used to giving people code words to pull him back from going too far on super sensitive topics. Generally when he's just chilling (as much as a sadistic paranoid conqueror even can...) he won't bring it up, but anyone he likes enough will be granted the opportunity. Because Nobunaga was raised as royalty, and a conquering warlord, even among his allies he tends to seize upon verbal weaknesses as something to continually poke and attack. The code words give him the warning to back the fuck off, and remind him to actually get a grip. Anyone can also prompt him to get one such word, either by ~rumors~ or just reminding him he doesn't actually need everyone to hate him etc.

BUT he is shown a magazine rating his "hotness" level (in game) and only came in second place to Akechi Mitsuhide, and simply having people know his historical deeds he LOVES (derp derp.) He also likes NOT being recognized. He's pretty thrilled either way, tbh. And because there are **thousands** of versions of Oda Nobunaga, feel free to recognize him as THE Oda; or NOT that Oda. He'll roll. For people important to him like Oichi, and Kitsuno, or Nohime/Kicho, we'll roll~!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): YEAHHHHHHHHHH. He hates Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, the caste system, the untouchables rule, "magic," and generally will flat out challenge all of it. He killed 10,000 people including women & children in one night of burning Mount Hiei, and doesn't regret it (monster!), and he flat out called himself the Demon King of 6th Heaven, and while sarcastically, he wound up embracing it whole-heartedly. He CAN be softened (if you go the romance route for him, he starts even sparing Kenshin and others) and he doesn't kill indiscriminately (Mount Hiei were all Buddhist monks & nuns and he'd had it with their dominance separate from accountability) but there's no part of him that isn't touchy, borderline genocidal maniac, and certainly controversial. I don't go deep into details without warning though, so you can generally get away with avoiding everything!
- My only CW/TW is dolls. PURE dolls. (NOT counting figurines/stuffed animals!) If you're going to link pictures, warn me in the post, I just need a brief bit of bracing, thanks!
