PLACES:
America - 3 things which this references. 2 continents: North and South America. Though named after Amerigo Vespucci, everyone seems to have forgotten his name? Unfortunate. There is also a country named America, for some reason. Spans the whole east to west of the continent.
North Atlantic ocean - Not far enough north to have polar bears. Crichton does not believe this is Earth, as much as a facsimile of it.
California - The far West of the world. Can be reached by sailing east from Japan across the Pacific, but the logistics for own time period are untenable.

Stonehenge - Big stone obelisks in a circular pattern. In England. Ancient.
Carved faces in mountains - in America the country. For economic purposes?
Hope County, Montana, Big Sky Country - Home to both Sharky & Deputy Pratt. Very open land. Had a cultist problem. Rook must be very cool.
PEOPLE:
The Captain - A mysterious ghostly undead figure capable of dark or "bad" (as if there are any other kinds?) magic that brings people to this ship and then revisits old haunts for the purpose of feeding off of "negative" emotions. Obsessed only with fiction, the library has no non-fiction due to this obsession. Veracity unknown, I have yet to meet him personally. Nor am I the only one not feeling especially tortured by being here, but I will not lose my sense of caution. Dates/timelines unknown. If Amaterasu is before the Emperor's lineage, then she's the oldest, or I am so far. Furthest into the future is
- Translation mechanism maybe be English purely because it requires less effort and is the most commonly spoken. However how deep the magic goes beyond writing, is also unknown. It infects the brain itself.
- Earth? North Atlantic? Speculation. Posited theory: a different form of Earth.
- The ship's physical dimensions are completely nonsensical and impossible. Magic? Or something else. A trick of the mind?
Amaterasu - Very real. Has the sword and magic capacity to prove it. Quite fun? I have no desire to go to war. It seems we actually are in agreement about the welfare of Japan. I shall debate realigning my assumptions that war with the gods is the only way to secure a better Japan and Earth. Never turn down an ally's help due to personal bigotry. She has no idea what the Emperor's idiot line has been up to. She might also be able to help fix it, and cares about Nippon as much as I do, maybe more. Good goddess. Time period completely unidentifiable. Before or after the royal family had the Kusanagi (800s), probably before. (500s? Before the Emperor's wife worked on behalf of her? Before even sending anyone to Nippon???)
Commander Crichton - Brilliant astronaut. Lost from Earth and trying to return. A welcome ally. Protect at all costs. 1999 FIRST OFFICIAL FRIEND! / Dances and likes Karaoke / is used to aliens

Jeff from California - Friend. Paints nails. Fun. 1995 // Boyfriend: Bash. // Can use magic using music which heightens/possibly controls emotions. Dangerous! // Possessed by "Chase:" in October, killed Crichton.
April - Previously stuck in a "minimum wage 9 to 5 job" which sounds like a lower rung of hell where the torture is in the form of tedium. Views this as a welcome reprieve and luxury. Fond of Blue Hawaiians. Highly intelligent, her task was akin to Mitsunari's librarian and researcher status, but she had to deal with the public. - About from Mai's time, 2000s.
Tear Grants - My first alien! Very reminiscent of Oichi, had a big brother who raise her and sang to her, she sings as well. Fought against the religious faction of her world, but is even more kind than she's brilliant, soft-hearted, soft-spoken, soldier. Auldrant, ND, 2018
*Additional note: seems lonely, keep an eye out for others from Auldrant?
Johnny Summers - Business executive. Owned a building with multiple components, like putting a business street under one roof. Vertical instead of horizontal. Aims to smooth relations between "social circles," and promote healing of mind and spirit between negative events by the Captain.
Stede Bonnet - The most frustrating person I've ever dealt with. All the worst aspects of myself, Mitsunari, and Hideyoshi with none of the Ieyasu, Mitsuhide, or Masamune to balance us. Extremely witty, he'd have made a fantastic writer, if he wasn't so determined to be a pirate despite seemingly have had other options. A curious individual, and not without his pride. Really needs an Ieyasu to protect him. Supposedly Blackbeard "Ed" does this, but I have yet to understand how. Somehow not the worst problem of the ship?
Clarke Griffin - The boldest
D'vana Tendi - A Starfleet officer from Orion. Ex- pirate captain. Perky. Kind! Ally, worth princess kidnapping or luring away. Proceed with caution, the cultural differences are even larger than just Japan to the outside world of same time period.
Ylva - A wolf. Very cool. Smart, friendly, knows Amaterasu. Good wolf. From Hawthorne's Fall. Dislikes politics. Humans & elves like politics.
Deputy Pratt - Will make a samurai and give him his own sword. Guarded his lands, "police"/cop = law enforcement. Is fond of samurai movies. Likes treasure hunting! Find out what other hobbies he enjoys. // Dealt with Jacob Seed's Peggies cult. EXTREMELY mentally durable. Always help reinforce his recovery so he can help others. // Resource for identifying various foods.
Ruby Rose - Extremely strong, skilled huntress made her own weapon, hunts monsters. Has a princess heart like Oichi, make sure to teach her unarmed martial arts, and get her making smaller weapons. // Birthday = Halloween
Jinx - Brilliant. Made her own weapons. Artist. Adopt!
Venti - Wandering bard, can usually fly. Collects all timeline genres of music and poetry. Ranmaru-adjacent. Poetry & Singing club. Make a general in charge of arts. Protect from everything!
EFB: Eterna FrontRunner Bastion E54 - Earth Gibraltar 2077, had many siblings previously. Excellent listener and conversationalist, understands not to be solely a soldier unit, the dangers involved. And enjoys processing information about things outside its innate base.

Arthur - Knows poetry, piano, gets along with Crichton (roommate) -- maybe more. One question at a time.
Maeve Millay - From WestWorld, uses katana and guns. Has died more times than everyone else combined, due to the very fucked up nature of WestWorld's castes. Reminiscent of Gozen, but a lot more badass, just as deadly and dangerous. LEAST want to anger, most want to keep on good side. She has promised to protect me so I can enjoy a hot tub night?? HILARIOUS! But welcome, nevertheless. Likes cowboy books. Recommends Steven for rocks discussion.
Klaus Hargreeves, Lucky #4 - Karaoke. Easy going. Conversational. Extremely rough childhood, perhaps the only person on the ship with a background wilder than my own. OFFICIAL FRIEND! A wealth of resource for music, movies, and knowledge. Had many tattoos, but they're missing. [And then a doodle of the stereotypical ai-ai-gasa triangle umbrella,
- Dave was his previous partner, a solider in Vietnam who died in battle. Be as careful about this as possible and then some more.
- Targeted for mentioning ghost abilities, despite not having access to them here/now.
- Birthday = October 1st (same for all siblings)

Lt. Ari Teyrey - BRILLIANT! Easily one of the smartest on the ship, possibly that I've ever met. She understands extremely complicated things faster than everyone else, handles everything thrown her way, and has ambition and skills to do just about whatever she sets her mind to. // Adopted in heart. Treat as own daughter. / Understandably unfamiliar with Sun Tzu. TRAIN IN EVERYTHING! // Uses contracts as part of being a Tradeliner. Cardalek homeworld. Exceptionally loyal to her Captain and no desire to break contract. // AstroNavigator, charts stars, maps, loves maps. Collect atlases for!

The other map is 1582 approximation of Earth as best fitting his office globe, with an additional note for California, and USA, Mexico, and Argentina on the bottom tip of South America. A red line straight down from Japan to make for a circle with a FUTURE and vague Australia circle]
